50+ Course
•BERLIN 50+ is an exciting language trip for people over 50, who are interested in culture, exploring Berlin and social activities in addition to improving their German. Alongside language classes, there is plenty of time for discovering Berlin. The culture programme includes guided city tours and walks around the city’s Museums Island, Mitte and Hackescher Markt districts, beer tasting at a traditional brewery and nights at the theatre, opera and cabaret. The programme is adjusted for the seasons and can be changed at short notice if needed.
There are three variations of this course. One with 20 lesson hours per week in a group of up to 10 people - one with 20 lesson hours FIRST CLASS (individual lessons) - and one with 20 lesson hours FIRST CLASS DUO (for only two people).
Our 50+ German courses are designed for motivated learners at all levels: learners will develop their German language abilities in small groups with a goal-oriented syllabus.
The focus of the course is always practical: making oneself understood in everyday situations. We want to provide a taste of German culture and lifestyle, for example German festivals and traditions, history, literature, daily life and much more. Grammar and written language are not the main thrust of the lessons. The teachers know the special interests of this target group and have customized the course to fit their needs.
