EUROLTA Teacher Training for foreign language teachers
IH Berlin PROLOG is proud to announce that from January 2010 we will be offering teachers of all languages to adults the new •EUROLTA certificate course!
It was way back in 2005 that IH Berlin started offering •training courses for DaF (German as a Foreign Language) teachers. Since then, the teacher training department has gone from strength to strength. In 2007 IH Berlin became •a training centre for DaZ (German as a Second Language), offering courses on behalf of the German Office for Migration and Refugees and taking on an important role in enabling the further integration of migrants to Germany.
To our existing teacher training portfolio, we are now able to add the EUROLTA certificate course. As the exclusive training centre in Berlin and Brandenburg, IH Berlin now has a course aimed at all language teachers working with adults. The course comprises roughly 120 hours of seminars and workshops covering topics such as teaching methodology, culture in language learning, evaluating and adapting materials, catering to different learning styles and assessing progress. Teachers are also given the opportunity to turn theory into practice in the classroom.
The course is designed for both in-service and prospective language teachers and is spread over seven weekends. For anyone who is interested in finding out more, all of the information you need can be found at •www.eurolta-berlin.de/en
