Expolingua
Just as we’ve done in previous years, •IH Berlin PROLOG took part in this year’s •EXPOLINGUA here in Berlin. The trade fair for language travel and language learning, EXPOLINGUA, took place at the Russischen Haus der Wissenschaft und Kultur from November 14 to 16.
Under the patronage of the French Embassy, language travel agents, language schools, training providers and publishers all presented themselves. The French language was the subject of this year’s accompanying programme of presentations.
The target visitors for the EXPOLINGUA included school, college and university students, apprentices, trainees and professionals, all with an interest in further language learning. There were also many teachers, lecturers, translators and interpreters and others with an interest in language and culture. More than 15,000 visitors from all over Germany came to the event.
Altogether there were more than 150 exhibitors from more than 30 different countries presenting their services and the trends in the fields of language learning and teaching. In addition to the language schools from within and outside Germany, there was also a range of language travel agents, exchange programme organisers, embassies, culture institutions, tourism offices and publishing houses.
