Get to know PROLOG - Ilse

It all began in 2002 with an internship at PROLOG. I was taking a further education course for administrative employees and had to participate in some practical training as part of the course – which I did at PROLOG. After the internship, Mr. Stränger asked to me if I would like to stay on at IH Berlin PROLOG. In the meantime, many years have passed by and I still feel happy working at the school.
I am responsible for the accounting at PROLOG and everything else that has to do with the finances. On top of that, I am here to advise students and teachers, and try to help wherever I can.
I am married and have a grown-up daughter. Alongside my family, I devote my free time to my dogs – I have owned Afghan hounds for the last 25 years and often go to shows and training with them. I am also very involved with humanitarian help for Africa – for almost 15 years now I have been personally motivated to help and improve the lives of the people there. If you're interested in learning more, please •read the story about our "partner school" in Burkina Faso from the December newsletter. As a result of my love for Africa, I have discovered and actively participate in a group of rhythmic drummers.
