Get to know PROLOG - Janka
Time sure does fly by fast. It’s been almost exactly eight years since I started working as the school secretary at PROLOG, when we were in the Crellestraße with eight classrooms in comparison to the 22 classrooms that I am organising now. Back then there were just three of us who managed the office: Uwe, the Director of the school; Felix, the Director of Studies for German; and me.
Many years have passed since then and with the exception of bookkeeping and course design, I have been active in all departments and areas in our language school, that’s why I’m so familiar with everything that happens in the school. I especially like dealing with the many local and international customers, my colleagues and the teachers.
I have been head of the office for three years and am on the front line whenever any students or teachers have any questions or comments. I am head of the foreign language department and language travel is another part of my duties.
When I have some free time, I like to watch American TV series in English, e.g. Dexter. I’m a permanent fixture in the Berliner electronic dance scene, organise parties, go dancing in clubs and, recently, have even been spinning vinyl though mostly for my own amusement. I’d love to be able to meet you again or for the first time in our office!
