Student numbers
On January 3, 2011 at 8 a.m., the first students for German as a Foreign Language of 2011 were standing at the school's door of IH Berlin PROLOG. The new year's start went splendidly. In comparison to last year, the student numbers have noticeably increased. With a total of up to 170 students in 18 parallel intensive courses, we have added 20% on last January's attendance. Some of the first participants were a group of Swiss business students, who prepared for the Zerifikat Deutsch in a three-week intensive programme and successfully passed the test on January 27, 2011. The preparation courses for the TestDaf, a university entrance examination for the C1 level, and the Goethe exams for B2 and C1 are being taught in three other examination preparation classes.
Currently students from 28 countries are studying German and enjoying the comprehensive leisure programme offered by IH Berlin PROLOG as well as the pulsating cultural life in Berlin.
